LE MABOUL IN ARABIC

lemaboul.jpg

The Arabic translation of Fouad Laroui’s collection of short stories LE MABOUL has just been published. The book was translated by Ibrahim El Khatibi, whose initiative I applaud. LE MABOUL, originally written in French, was published by Julliard in 2001. Why did it take seven years to translate into Arabic a book written by a Moroccan author? Who knows?
