		<description>I read the article as well and was astounded by the lack of actual facts.  Had Ms. Applebaum actually visited downtown Rabat on a random afternoon during the last 8 years or so she would have seen the hoards of youth -who have turned protesting in front of the parliament into full time work for lack of an alternative- being violently beaten, dragged in the streets, arrested, etc.  
Looking forward to reading your commentary on Morocco&#039;s outstanding achievements over the last ten years.</description>

		<description>I wish I&#039;d seen this sooner! I wrote a critique as well, and a piece for GV.  Anyway, I completely agree with you.  But - Ms. Applebaum really has no expertise in the region and has no right to even claim understanding of either country.
